1. Definitions
In these terms, ‘service’ means the Alimentatie Inzicht platform and ‘we’ means Kompas Legal & Finance. ‘You’ are the user of the service.
2. The service
Alimentatie Inzicht provides indicative child and spousal maintenance calculations, scenario comparisons and PDF reports. The service is intended for orientation and preparation.
3. Indicative nature, not legal advice
The results are indicative only and do not constitute legal, tax or financial advice. The actual maintenance may differ and may depend on additional circumstances, agreements between parties or a court decision. Always consult a professional.
4. Account & use
You are responsible for accurate input and for keeping your login details confidential. Misuse, unlawful use or harming the service is not permitted.
5. Report, subscriptions & payment
You make a calculation with a free account. You unlock the full report (including PDF) per case for € 35 including VAT, one-off; you keep access to that case afterwards. During the introductory period the first report is free: one per account, for one case, available once you have confirmed your email address and usable up to 6 months after registration; an unused credit then lapses. For professionals we offer the Pro (€ 99 per month) and Unlimited (€ 249 per month) subscriptions, both including VAT, paid monthly in advance and cancellable monthly with effect from the end of the current period. Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe. The report is digital content delivered immediately after payment; once the report has been unlocked, the purchase can no longer be withdrawn.
6. Intellectual property
All rights to the service, software, design and content belong to Kompas Legal & Finance. You receive a limited, non-transferable right of use.
7. Liability
The calculations are indicative; you remain responsible for decisions you make based on the results. Our liability for damage is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event causing the damage, unless the damage results from intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
8. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time; your cases and reports are then deleted in accordance with our privacy policy. Download your PDF reports before having your account deleted. A current subscription ends at the end of the paid month. We may suspend or terminate access in case of misuse or breach of these terms.
9. Changes
We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
11. Complaints
Do you have a complaint about the service? Email info@alimentatieinzicht.nl; we usually respond within 2 working days and work with you towards a solution. If we cannot resolve it together, you can bring the dispute before the competent court (article 10).
